Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Boardinghouse Manager to oversee the operations of our boarding facility. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our boardinghouse while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing guest experiences, improving operational efficiency, and driving the overall success of our boardinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the boardinghouse, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of boardinghouse staff
- Coordinate guest services, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue generation
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both staff and guests
- Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and promote the boardinghouse
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in hotel management, hospitality, or a related field
- Strong understanding of boardinghouse operations and guest service management
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in remote team management
- Knowledge of marketing strategies specific to the hospitality industry
- Fluency in multiple languages
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in property management systems (PMS) and reservation software
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
