Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Billing to lead the billing and revenue management team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and auditors regarding billing processes and inquiries
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in billing, finance, or revenue management roles, with a proven track record of leadership
- Strong understanding of billing systems and processes, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
- Experience in designing and implementing billing solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and revenue recognition principles
- Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems and billing software such as Zuora, Salesforce Billing, or similar
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel and BI tools
- Experience with billing automation tools and platforms
- Familiarity with accounting software and revenue recognition standards
