Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead the grading process for bag production, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Manage and train a team of graders, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement grading criteria and protocols to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the grading process
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve grading issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of grading outputs to ensure consistent quality levels
- Analyze grading data to identify trends and areas for improvement, reporting findings to management
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a quality control or grading role within the manufacturing sector, preferably in textiles or bag production
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving process improvements
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes related to bags
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality management methodologies
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in manufacturing
