We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Alignment Specialist to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the alignment team, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices in automotive alignment
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles to determine alignment requirements, including setting up alignment equipment to industry specifications
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of alignment equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Develop and implement training programs for alignment technicians to enhance skills and knowledge of the latest alignment technologies
- Collaborate with service advisors and customers to provide clear explanations of alignment issues and recommended solutions
- Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Stay current with automotive industry trends and developments to provide cutting-edge alignment services
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive alignment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service
- Strong understanding of alignment equipment, tools, and techniques, including 3D alignment technology
- ASE certification in alignment or equivalent credentials
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an automotive service environment
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle alignment requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using alignment machines, diagnostic tools, and software
- Knowledge of vehicle suspension systems and geometry
- Experience with industry-standard alignment software and reporting tools
