Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Auto Battery Production Supervisor to lead our remote production teams in optimizing battery manufacturing processes. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in battery technology and manufacturing to ensure operational excellence, safety, and quality across all production activities. You will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Develop and implement production schedules, aligning with demand forecasts while optimizing resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting production issues, utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to drive product improvements and innovations
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes and standards, maintaining high product quality and customer satisfaction
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production supervision within the automotive or battery manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of battery technology, production processes, and safety standards
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with automated production systems and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of quality management systems and production optimization tools
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA)
