Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Assisted Living to lead our innovative program aimed at providing exceptional care and support to our residents. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents through effective leadership and innovative program development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operational strategy and implementation of our Assisted Living programs, focusing on resident-centric care and community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of care and service.
- Manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and drive financial performance within the department.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide outstanding care.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and enhancing care practices and resident services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners to promote our services and enhance community involvement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in assisted living or long-term care management, with a proven track record of leadership and operational success.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in assisted living.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience developing and implementing innovative programs that enhance resident care and engagement.
- Certifications related to assisted living or healthcare management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
