Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Assistant Assisted Living Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the overall operational and administrative functions of our assisted living facility, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Assisted Living Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies
- Support the development and implementation of care plans for residents, focusing on personalized care and engagement
- Coordinate schedules for staff and residents, ensuring adequate coverage and support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and facility operations
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and staff to enhance the quality of life for residents
- Participate in resident assessments and support the planning of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in healthcare administration, gerontology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in health services, social work, or a related field
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for assisted living facilities
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to utilize scheduling and communication tools effectively
