Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Home Operations to oversee the daily management and strategic direction of our nursing home facilities. This role is critical in ensuring that we deliver exceptional care to our residents while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of nursing home operations, including staffing, resident care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care and overall resident experience
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence in care delivery through staff training, mentorship, and performance management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans for residents
- Engage with residents and their families to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with services provided
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing nursing home operations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing home management or operations, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards in healthcare settings
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
Preferred:
- Experience with budget management and financial oversight in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology
- Certification in nursing home administration (NHA) or related credential
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Understanding of data analytics tools for operational performance tracking
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies in healthcare
