Role Overview
We are searching for a detail-oriented and strategic Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties within our dynamic organization. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of property management to enhance operational efficiency, drive tenant satisfaction, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring optimal occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction
- Develop and implement property management strategies that align with the company's overall objectives
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of property income and expenses
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Lead and mentor on-site property management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Collaborate with maintenance and construction teams to ensure timely response to property issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to secure competitive pricing and quality service
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of property management experience, with a focus on multi-family residential properties
- Proven track record of managing multiple properties simultaneously
- Strong understanding of local and federal housing regulations and compliance
- Exceptional financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and financial analysis
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi or AppFolio
- Property Management certification (e.g., CPM, CAM) is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems
- Strong analytical skills to assess property performance and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to utilize digital marketing tools to enhance property visibility and tenant engagement
