Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Control Specialist (Ampoules) to join our dedicated quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our ampoule products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, contributing to our mission of delivering safe and effective solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of ampoule products throughout the production process to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and product design.
- Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring that all quality assurance documentation is complete and accurate.
- Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (such as GMP, ISO) and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies and tools, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
Preferred:
- Experience with ampoule production and packaging processes.
- Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and techniques.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of quality management software and tools for data analysis.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and laboratory results.
- Experience with electronic quality management systems (eQMS) is a plus.
