Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to lead our efforts in providing innovative and effective conflict resolution strategies. This role will be critical in enhancing our ADR practices, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and promoting a culture of collaborative problem-solving within the organization. You will drive initiatives that align with our mission to resolve conflicts amicably and efficiently, reducing the need for litigation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine ADR policies and procedures to streamline conflict resolution processes.
- Lead a team of ADR professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality dispute resolution services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct assessments of dispute resolution needs and tailor strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on effective conflict resolution techniques and best practices.
- Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of ADR programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the organization in meetings with external stakeholders, including legal entities, to advocate for our ADR initiatives.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in law, conflict resolution, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, or conflict management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful ADR programs in a corporate or organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing ADR processes.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams.
Preferred:
- Certification in mediation or conflict resolution from a recognized body.
- Experience in managing complex disputes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in case management software and dispute resolution systems.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to assess ADR effectiveness and trends.
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks surrounding ADR practices.
