Role Overview
We are in search of a visionary Chief of Addiction Psychiatry to lead our comprehensive addiction treatment program. This pivotal role will involve setting the strategic direction for our clinical services, guiding a team of dedicated professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of care for individuals struggling with addiction. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive addiction psychiatry strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and vision.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Oversee clinical operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Drive research initiatives and clinical trials to advance addiction treatment methodologies and evidence-based practices.
- Engage with community stakeholders, policy makers, and healthcare systems to advocate for addiction services and resources.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor treatment outcomes and continuously improve service delivery.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in psychiatry and subspecialty training in addiction psychiatry.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical addiction psychiatry, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, including pharmacological and psychosocial interventions.
- Experience in managing clinical programs and developing strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and publish research in the field of addiction psychiatry.
Preferred:
- Fellowship training in addiction psychiatry.
- Experience with telepsychiatry and digital health solutions.
- Strong network within the addiction treatment community and familiarity with current trends and challenges.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools to evaluate treatment efficacy and operational efficiency.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to addiction treatment and mental health.
