The Role

Zicasso is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Digital Asset Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the guardian of our visual library, ensuring our collection of stunning photos, videos, and other digital assets are meticulously organized, easily accessible, and used to their full potential. Your role will be crucial in supporting our marketing efforts and ensuring the smooth operation of our digital content workflow.

This is an international, fully-remote, contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States.

There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with Denver, CO, eg. Mountain Time Zone (GMT -7).

The work will all be conducted in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring efficient organization of all digital assets (photos, videos, logos, etc.)
  • Meticulously upload, edit metadata, and categorize digital assets, ensuring accurate and detailed information for each file to allow for easy search of assets
  • Maintain accurate and consistent file naming conventions
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of digital asset management (DAM) workflows and best practices
  • Maintain copyright and licensing information for all assets, ensuring proper usage and compliance
  • Work closely with the visual content team to understand their digital asset needs and efficiently fulfill their requests
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DAM technologies and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve our digital asset management processes
  • Make changes/updates to photo content on our website
  • Support marketing team with other duties as needed


Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ years experience working with a Digital Asset Management System
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices for image tagging
  • Proven experience in Cloudinary is plus
  • Experience with image and video editing software
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear and concise communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work independently to achieve objectives and meet deadlines effectively
  • Good time management
  • Interest in digital media, marketing, and brand management
