World Kinect is looking for a highly motivated Endpoint Tech Lead to drive world class and iterative product development to ensure high reliability, security and excellent end-user experience around it’s Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android platforms.

As a Tech Lead you will provide leadership and support to the endpoint management team around solutions and decisions, lead efforts to automate processes to increase security and create efficiencies, and mentor junior engineers enabling increased delivery and driving our deprtmental objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • SME knowledge of MS InTune, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and system administration.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and integrating endpoint management with cloud services.

  • Knowledge and implementation experience of Zero Trust security principles to enhance endpoint security.

  • Proficiency in using automation tools and frameworks to streamline endpoint management processes.

  • Expertise in managing and securing endpoints in a remote or hybrid work environment

  • Ability to analyze endpoint data to drive insights and improve management strategies.

  • Emphasis on improving the end-user experience through efficient and user-friendly endpoint management solutions

  • Proficiency package management like Chocolatey, Homebrew, or Winget for automating software installation and management.

  • Experience patch management tools like Windows Autopatch, WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), or third-party patch management solutions to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.

  • Expertise in using configuration management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM), Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for consistent and automated configuration of endpoints.

  • Skills in deploying applications using Microsoft Intune, Jamf for macOS, or other MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.

  • Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and streamline endpoint management processes.

  • Experience with remote management tools and techniques to support and troubleshoot endpoints in distributed environments.

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements, including implementing endpoint protection solutions like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

  • Proficiency in using monitoring tools and generating reports to track endpoint health and performance.

  • Understanding of the complete endpoint lifecycle, from provisioning and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning, ensuring efficient and secure management throughout

  • Experience leading and driving strategic initiatives in an enterprise to industry best practice.

Education & Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Passion for writing simple and reusable code.

  • Passionate about learning and staying up to date on relevant technologies and trends.

  • Curious, determined personality with ability to deconstruct complex issues, identify dependencies and blockers early and make decisions despite incomplete information.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude

  • Demonstrate relentless commitment to improving customer experience and satisfaction.
