Job Summary
The Strategic Reporting Consultant is a senior contributor role (Sr. Analyst II) in the reporting team that blends analytical skills, enterprise reporting experience, communication skills, and client-facing consulting to identify and implement reporting solutions that address the unique needs of our clients and brokers in a rapidly evolving landscape.Key responsibilities include:
•Discussing reporting needs and current capabilities during new client implementations, as well as documenting and scoping requests for custom report development.
•Leading projects to enhance reporting capabilities that support decision making, including documenting requirements, researching data accessibility, identifying the best solutions to meet our client and broker needs, development and testing of new reports, and final launch.
•Assessing current reporting processes and recommending improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
•Collaborating with our internal partners in Client Management, Client Analytics, Healthcare Management, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, IT, Operations, and other areas to understand data accessibility and limitations, develop reports, and define reporting KPIs and standards.
•Providing system demonstrations of the various Luminare Health reporting tools for clients, prospects, and broker/consultant partners.
•Leading training and providing ongoing support for internal and external users with access to our reporting systems, including Client Management education on interpreting reports to shape strategy and performance.
•Creating and maintaining documentation for current and new reporting.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics or an analytically oriented healthcare field and 5 years of experience in data management and analytics, healthcare and/or insurance experience with payer, provider, PBM or analytics vendor preferred or High School diploma/GED equivalent and 9 years’ experience in data management and analytics, healthcare and/or insurance experience with payer, provider, PBM or analytics vendor
- Health Care Claims Experience preferred
- Must have proficiency with commonly used database, spreadsheet, and word processing software [MS Office, Access, Excel, and Word] with ability to learn our systems.
- Must have base experience with SQL coding.
- Proficiency in using Healthcare Industry reporting and analytics tools and Healthcare Analytics platforms [Cedar Gate, Truven, Cotiviti].
- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience serving clients in a developing market segment.
- Proven ability to build relationships with multiple individuals and functions and quickly establish credibility.
- Superior written, verbal, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills for multiple audience types including the ability to interact with large strategic clients and prospects, including broker partners.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a high degree of creativity, flexibility, and self-direction.
- Proven experience leading data and analytics discussions and projects.
- Resourceful in the ability to identify and obtain new sources of information.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage projects in a deadline-sensitive environment.
- Must be able to travel approximately 10% of time.
Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced degree, like a Master’s in Business Administration or Healthcare Analytics, is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare, benefits, insurance industry, and managed care delivery system.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
Min to Max Range:
$67,600.00 - $127,000.00Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
