What we’re looking for:

In our next phase of growth, Wonders is looking to hire our first Speech-to-Text Engineer! In this role you will own the development and deployment of speech recognition systems from 0 to 1.

What you’ll accomplish:

• You will design and deploy effective speech-to-text systems
• You will clean and process large datasets for AI model training
• You will iteratively optimize speech recognition systems
• You will tackle challenges resourcefully and independently
• You will keep pace with industry developments in speech recognition and machine learning. Apply what’s useful.

About You:

• You have 3+ years of experience in machine learning background in speech and/or language/text/dialogue processing field.
• You have hands-on experience developing and implementing speech-to-text systems.
• You have experience with deep learning toolkits, e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch.
• You have cleaned and processed large datasets for training AI models.
• You have strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.

Bonus points:

• You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
• You have a BS / MS / PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science or related field.
• You have experience working at a SaaS company.
• You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
