- Owns the technology relationships & supports technology thought leadership
- Continuously improve the architecture of Data Analytics Platform
- Drives research, case studies, and prototypes on leading-edge technologies and how they can be leveraged.
- Develops proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and makes recommendations.
- Develops, enhances and enforces system standards, best practices and guidelines.
- Designs and/or Proposes enhancements to improve the performance, availability and reliability of the cloud computing environment for Data Analytics Platform.
- Accountable for the system architecture of the enterprise-wide Data Analytics Platform.
- Work with internal and external system architects and technicians to keep the architecture of the Data Analytics Platform healthy and elastic.
- Manage the lifecycle of the Data Analytics Platform and maintain plans for the next 5 years.
- Monitor the system performance of the Data Analytics Platform to always meet the service levels.
- Keep the Data Analytics Platform stable and maximize the availability.
- Manage the Processes and Guidelines on Data Governance.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience to design and implement a modern Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud and similar BI experiences
- Architect level technical knowledge of relational databases, DataLake and Google Cloud BigQuery
- Architect level technical knowledge of Looker and other BI Tools
- Administrator level knowledge of Collibra or other Data Governance Tool
