About the Team/Role

The Customer & Enterprise Experience organization is building WEX’s AI-native revenue flywheel — reimagining how customers and internal teams engage across the entire lifecycle journey. Our mission is to architect a unified, intelligent ecosystem that modernizes customer experiences, automates enterprise workflows, and accelerates revenue growth through AI-powered transformation.

We are seeking a visionary Director of Product, Revenue Lifecycle & Emerging Tech to lead two critical strategic priorities: modernizing and reimagining WEX’s quote-to-cash and revenue lifecycle ecosystem, and driving AI-enabled transformation initiatives across enterprise functions including Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on solving complex enterprise-scale challenges tied to revenue leakage, operational efficiency, workflow automation, and AI-native platform innovation. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to define the future-state vision for revenue lifecycle management while identifying practical opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve how work gets done across the enterprise.

This leader will play a foundational role in helping WEX build a unified digital ecosystem that reduces friction, improves operational scalability, accelerates revenue capture, and enhances customer and employee experiences.

How you'll make an impact

  • Define and execute the long-term vision for WEX’s quote-to-cash and revenue lifecycle ecosystem across multiple business lines

  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on reducing revenue leakage and improving billing accuracy through platform modernization and workflow optimization

  • Identify and prioritize AI-enabled transformation opportunities across Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and customer lifecycle functions

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align enterprise priorities, drive organizational change, and influence strategic decision-making

  • Build scalable, AI-native product and platform strategies that modernize customer and employee experiences

  • Simplify fragmented workflows and operational processes through automation, intelligent tooling, and platform consolidation

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Finance, Security, Legal, Commercial, and Operations teams

  • Lead through ambiguity while balancing long-term strategic transformation with near-term business outcomes

  • Develop roadmaps and execution strategies for enterprise-scale modernization initiatives

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, experimentation, and responsible AI adoption

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of product leaders and AI-focused builders

  • Deliver measurable business outcomes tied to revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost-to-serve reduction

  • Evaluate and leverage modern AI tooling, prototyping environments, and AI-builder platforms to accelerate experimentation and delivery

Experience you'll bring

  • 15+ years of professional experience with significant experience in Product Management and enterprise product leadership roles

  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience leading high-performing teams

  • Proven experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives across complex, matrixed organizations

  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to define long-term platform visions and execution roadmaps

  • Exceptional executive communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior leaders with competing priorities

  • Experience modernizing enterprise platforms, workflows, or operational ecosystems

  • Strong systems-thinking and operational problem-solving capabilities

  • AI-forward mindset with familiarity leveraging AI-enabled workflows, automation tools, and modern AI prototyping environments

  • Experience working with AI-assisted development or prototyping tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or similar technologies

  • Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments

  • Proven ability to balance strategic transformation work with measurable business execution

  • Experience driving product strategy across multiple business domains and enterprise stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered

What will give you an edge

  • Experience with quote-to-cash, revenue lifecycle management, billing systems, or revenue operations

  • Experience within FinTech, Payments, B2B SaaS, or enterprise platform environments

  • Experience leading AI-native product or operational transformation initiatives

  • Familiarity with customer lifecycle ecosystems including onboarding, servicing, billing, invoicing, and automation

  • Experience building or scaling AI-enabled workflow automation solutions

  • Understanding of enterprise AI governance, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices

  • Experience supporting AI transformation initiatives across Finance, HR, Legal, or Operations organizations

  • Experience working within acquisition-heavy or highly fragmented enterprise environments
