Virtual Assistant - Estimating Assistant

We Clone You is a leading virtual assistant company that specializes in providing virtual assistance to businesses of all sizes. We are currently looking for a Virtual Assistant with a background as an Estimating Assistant and/or with civilengineering/construction to join our client's team.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including:

• Review and interpret blueprint layouts to calculate labor and material costs for commercial construction projects
• Conduct takeoffs to determine the quantity of materials required for each project
• Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates
• Utilize industry-specific software to create detailed and accurate estimates
• Maintain up-to-date records of all estimates and related documentation
• Ensure all estimates are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in takeoffs and estimating in the construction industry
• Background in engineering and/or architecture and/or construction
• Strong understanding of blueprint layouts and material and labor costs
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Educational background in construction or architecture is greatly appreciated
