Position reports to Manager of Marketing Services and works closely with Manager of Practice Development in planning and executing department’s marketing programs.Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates and compiles annual digital and crowdsourced public-health specific reports/magazines documenting institute wide-events.
- Determines content strategy for research carried out on program’s social media channels that best generates engagement with the program and drives attendance.
- Develops creative content, including art, consistent with the program’s voice and identity and targeted for each channel’s audience.
- Conceptualizes new avenues for reaching audiences based on current digital media trends and initiatives, including those being implemented by the university and peer institutions, staying abreast of news about artists and events the program could share or respond to online.
- Tracks and reports on social media digital research carried out by the program and offering data-driven recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
- Assists the program communications manager with other marketing and communications initiatives as needed, such as advertising strategy and media buys, including paid social media, and partnering on special projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive familiarity with social networks (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, YouTube) and emerging technologies (including mobile), Internet culture and etiquette.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying degrees of complexity and to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- At least two years of experience in a health care setting.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field and a minimum of two years of experience.

G10Salary Range
$48,700.00 - $80,500.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.Questions
