About your role
We are seeking a Virtual Health Coach to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting women through their menopausal journey, providing personalized guidance, motivation, and encouragement via our app. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on women's health.
This is a part-time contract – 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 5 days per week). We are looking for someone who can work morning hours – ideally 9-1pm EST. There is the opportunity to transition to full-time.
Role type: Contractor.
Location: Remote, US.
As Health Coach you will
- Provide virtual 1:1 text-based coaching to support our users with lifestyle and behaviour changes to address their menopause symptoms.
- Motivate and guide our users through the symptom-based plans on our Stella app.
- Provide cover for our customer service team (estimated 2 days per month), communicating with patients and coordinating with Vira team members to resolve customer queries and issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a health coach.
- Loves helping people to reach their health goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower people.
- Very comfortable using digital platforms.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to coaching.
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Preferable: an academic qualification in health psychology or a related field.
- Preferable: Previous experience working in women's health.
Benefits
Salary $22,000-25,000/year ($44,000-50,000 FTE equivalent) depending on experience.
