Who You Are

As Senior Manager / Director Corporate Communications, you will lead the creation, coordination, and ongoing refinement of Verve’s internal and external corporate communication materials, like the content and graphic production of high-visibility corporate reports, including the Annual Report, Sustainability Report, and Governance Report. You’ll work closely with other departments like Marketing, Investor Relations, and HR to ensure messaging consistency and delivery across channels. This role is highly executional - we’re looking for someone who can write, design, edit, and manage communication content end-to-end.

This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin/Hamburg offices.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, write, and edit corporate communications, including press releases, newsletters, executive messages, and internal announcements, ensuring consistency in tone and voice.

  • Lead the planning and production of high-impact corporate reports (e.g. Annual, Sustainability, and Governance Reports), managing both content and design from concept to delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Board Office, Executive Management, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Investor Relations.

  • Own and coordinate version control, approvals, and stakeholder feedback processes across internal and external contributors.

  • Design and produce visually compelling corporate materials (e.g. presentations, reports), ensuring brand consistency across formats (PowerPoint, PDF, web), and collaborating with internal or external designers when needed.

  • Drive alignment of strategic messaging and brand positioning across all corporate communication efforts, working closely with Marketing, Investor Relations, and external PR/media partners to enhance Verve’s visibility in the market.

  • Monitor and analyze brand perception and positioning within the context of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor communications.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

  • 6-10 years of experience in Investor Relations/Corporate Communications or related roles, with at least a few years in a publicly listed growth company

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English, including the ability to adapt messaging to internal and external audiences

  • Strong skills in presentation design, formatting, layout, and visual storytelling

  • Experience producing and managing complex corporate publications and reports

  • Confidence and calm under pressure, with proven ability to meet hard deadlines and juggle multiple stakeholders

  • High level of self-organization, ownership, and attention to detail

  • Team-oriented, pragmatic, and solutions-driven
