The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Developer to guide our engineering team in building and maintaining mission-critical applications. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership — you’ll mentor developers, architect scalable solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery across web and desktop platforms.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and UX, to bring ideas to life and deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software used by professionals who depend on it every day.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade applications in C# and .NET, while mentoring and supporting the development team.

• Full Stack Development:

• Build responsive, modern front-end applications using React and Bootstrap 5.
• Enhance and maintain existing WinForms and WPF desktop applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema designs.

• Architecture & DevOps:

• Oversee build, test, and deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools.
• Drive automation, delivery efficiency, and cloud deployments in Azure.

• Testing & Quality:

• Define and implement testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and champion a quality-first, TDD culture.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with product managers, QA, and UX designers to deliver on roadmap priorities.
• Partner directly with customers for feature definition, demos, and ongoing support.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Promote coding standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with C#/.NET.
• Strong database expertise with SQL Server (query optimization, schema design).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with ASP.NET (MVC/Razor Pages).
• Skilled in front-end frameworks such as React and Bootstrap 5.
• Experience with WPF and WinForms (XAML, custom controls, MVVM).
• Familiarity with Web Components, WebView2, and media frameworks like Video.js or FFmpeg.
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Cloud deployment experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication, mentorship, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

• Background in security or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, CJIS, HIPAA).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Application Insights).
