About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Assurance Analyst to oversee and manage the Data Service Desk, with a focus on data support tickets, operational efficiency, and data quality across UPSTACK's internal systems. This role is responsible for auditing and monitoring data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.
The Data Assurance Analyst will work closely with Data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across UPSTACK to develop, document, and enforce data policies and standards. Additionally, this role includes ownership and ongoing maintenance of the Salesforce Data Dictionary, ensuring it remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving organizational data management needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Data Service Desk, handling and resolving data support tickets to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
- Review, audit, and correct data submitted by Sales and Customer Success in alignment with UPSTACK data policies and standards.
- Regularly audit and monitor data within internal systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to inform, document, enforce, and improve data policies and standards across the organization.
- Own, maintain, and govern the Salesforce Data Dictionary to ensure consistent data definitions and usage company-wide.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree:In Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. This educational background provides a foundational understanding of data management, analytics, and technical problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including CRM data structures, integrations, and data management.
- Strong understanding of technology and computer science fundamentals, including software development concepts and data systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and data quality issues across multiple data sources.
- Experience with data auditing processes and best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Solid quantitative skills, including statistical analysis and mathematical reasoning.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages relevant to data management (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Experience creating and maintaining clear, detailed reports and documentation; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex data issues and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Sales) and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Demonstrated interest in building and maintaining data governance, auditing, and quality assurance processes.

Salary Range
Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure, which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills.
The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00.
