Purpose of Position

The Program Coordinator will oversee the coordination and implementation of the NEUROscience professional development program at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS). This role involves assisting with program planning, managing daily operations, and ensuring the program runs smoothly in collaboration with various UND offices

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of the professional development program
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program activities
  • Develop and maintain the program schedule
  • Work closely with program participants
  • Coordinate with UND offices to facilitate program logistics and operations
  • Collaborate with the program director to align program goals with institutional objectives
  • Prepare reports on program progress and outcomes and manuscript preparation (project and previous lab work)

Required Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with Program Faculty and Staff
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to program needs

Minimum Requirements

  • Earned Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences or a related field by June 2025
  • At least one year of experience in teaching
  • Familiarity with the Indians Into Medicine (INMED) program at UND
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 tools
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
