UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

Location: Candidates must work in the United States

The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for the accurate design of the walls and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Design wall panels utilizing Mitek software
• Optimize designs for maximum efficiency
• Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy
• Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities
• Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are required
• Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars
