About the Role

Our client, a technology, information and media company is seeking a video editor to work on a transformative project involving the conversion of existing newsletters with a substantial subscriber base into voiced-over scripts that will be edited to emulate a specific animation style. The primary goal is to launch a YouTube channel featuring this content, with a target of releasing four videos per month. This is a part-time, long-term contract opportunity with remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Edit voiced-over scripts to create engaging animated videos, adhering to the provided style and format.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency in visual style and adherence to the established aesthetic.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality video content on a regular basis, aiming for four videos per month.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in video editing software
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with voiced-over animation or similar styles of video content.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
