About the Role

Our client, a company focused on bicycle services is seeking a mid-level UX designer for a project involving the redesign of a tracking page for bicycle servicing. This is an initial single job opportunity, with the potential for follow-up work. The UX designer will be tasked with working on this project over the course of approximately a week, with the ability to work remotely. However, professional-quality output is expected. The company is considering making a paid hire, but is also open to receiving offers from interested candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand the current pain points and user needs related to the bicycle service tracking page.
  • Develop user personas, user journeys, and user flows to identify areas for improvement and optimise the user experience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for the redesigned tracking page, incorporating best practices in usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing user-friendly interfaces and digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience in conducting user research, creating user personas, and developing user journeys and flows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and effective design solutions.
