About the Role

Our client, a new animation studio is seeking skilled 2D animators, key framers, in-betweeners, effects artists, and illustrators to work on a high-quality thriller action anime series. The project requires a mid-level to expert level of experience, and the work will be conducted remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Study and understand the art style and character designs from the provided references
• Create accurate and expressive character illustrations and sketches in the required style
• Animate characters and scenes following the established visual aesthetic and guidelines
• Produce high-quality key frames, in-betweens, and effects animations
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency in the animation quality and style

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation, preferably in the anime or traditional Disney style
• Proficiency in digital animation software
• Strong drawing and illustration skills with the ability to accurately replicate the art style
• Expertise in character animation, including posing, acting, and body mechanics
• Knowledge of animation principles, such as timing, squash and stretch, and exaggeration
