About the Role
Our client, a creative studio working on an engaging game that highlights the environmental implications of artificial intelligence is seeking to hire a CSS developer. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce a CSS stylesheet for the game using a provided Figma file. The studio is looking to hire a junior to mid-level CSS developer for this project, and remote work is acceptable as the job is not location-dependent. The studio is ready to make a paid hire and has all necessary designs and copy prepared.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the provided Figma file, including the game's design and layout.
- Write clean, organized, and efficient CSS code to accurately translate the Figma designs into a functional stylesheet.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of the CSS stylesheet.
- Collaborate with the studio's team to understand any specific requirements or guidelines.
- Optimize the CSS code for performance and maintainability.
Requirements
- Junior to mid-level experience in writing CSS code for web applications or games.
- Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CSS concepts, including selectors, box model, layouts, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks or libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) is an advantage.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
