What You Will Do

As a senior member of the Tekla Training team, you'll be a vital part of our mission to enhance customer productivity and proficiency in BIM modeling and detailing. You'll work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and deliver high-quality, expert-level training on Trimble’s Tekla Structures software and related products. You'll act as a subject matter expert, leading the creation and continuous improvement of training materials. This role is key to ensuring our customers can fully leverage our integrated solutions to improve accuracy and collaboration, directly supporting Trimble's strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Training Instruction: Independently designing, developing, and delivering pre-structured and customized training sessions on Tekla Structures through various formats, including virtual instructor-led training (VILT), in-person instructor-led training (ILT), webinars, workshops, and self-paced eLearning modules.

  • Curriculum Development: Leading the creation, review, and continuous improvement of comprehensive training plans and course materials. You'll collaborate with an Instructional Designer to ensure all content is up-to-date and aligns with the latest software versions and industry best practices.

  • Thought Leadership: Serving as a subject matter expert on complex workflows and interoperability, providing guidance and mentorship to other trainers and support staff. You'll also address primary technical training issues for Tekla Structures, especially regarding its integration with other Trimble products.

  • Customer Engagement: Communicating directly with clients to understand their needs and business goals to develop tailored training solutions.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

We're looking for someone who can help us inspire job seekers and attract strong candidates. The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skills and experiences:

  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of direct industry experience using Trimble's Tekla Structures to create fabrication BIM models for concrete or steel and documents in a production environment.

  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills that transcend language and cultural barriers. You should have proven presentation experience with both small and large groups, in remote and in-person settings.

  • Problem-Solving: The ability to solve complex, difficult, or sensitive customer issues and build strong relationships with internal and external personnel.

  • Professional Attributes: You are self-motivated, innovative, and influential, with the ability to educate a variety of roles, from IT to end-users.

About Your Location

You will work from your designated home office to provide virtual classroom trainings for clients. You may also have occasional travel for on-site training, no more than one week per month.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
