Job purpose:

The Technical Project Manager is the solution specialist with a clear focus on ensuring solutions are technically and functionally ‘fit for purpose’, designed, tested, and delivered according to the agreed timelines and Project Framework/Methodology. The solution owner throughout the project lifecycle, working collaboratively with all internal and external project stakeholders in solution delivery. Contribute to defined departmental objectives, best practices, and process improvements. Regularly participate in training and onboarding activities. Recognised as a proficient practitioner and/or subject matter expert in a specific solution, product, or industry customer.

Main tasks:

  • Define, design, implement and/or coordinate the execution of project/program solutions in accordance with the Project Framework/Methodology

  • Participate in, and/or lead requirements and design workshops with international customers and/or service providers.

  • Provide technical consulting to internal/external stakeholders on products and solutions.

  • Share knowledge of product features and solutions and how these can be best applied to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Contribute to and/or produce project deliverables in accordance with the Project Framework/Methodology

  • Support internal testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)/end-user training on features and functionality.

  • Review solutions to ensure compliance against standards/strategy/best practice.

  • Monitor the Scope, Cost, and Risk of solutions.

  • Contribute to defined departmental objectives and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and deliver solutions in accordance with the Project Framework/Methodology to agreed timelines.

  • Coordinate the implementation, testing, quality assurance and deployment of solutions to multiple environments.

  • Responsible for the Scope, Cost and Risk management of the project solution.

  • Identify and communicate solution scope, cost, risk, and schedule changes to the Project Manager.

  • Provide change (CRs) impact assessments on scope, cost, risk, and schedule as required.

  • Acquire and maintain a high-level of knowledge of solutions, products, and architecture.

  • Contribute to defined departmental objectives, KPIs, best practices, and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and analyze Java or another object-oriented language code

  • High knowledge of technical solutions and SaaS

  • Knowledge of Italian or second EU languages would be an advantage

  • Good technical problem-solving skills

  • Good reviewer and technical documentation skills

  • Mastery of Project management tools & techniques

  • Organizational savvy

Accountabilities:

  • The design, implementation, and delivery of solutions to agreed timelines.

  • ‘Fit for purpose’ of solutions as measured against the agreed requirements and design.

  • Adherence to the Project Framework/Methodology in use.

  • Meet defined departmental objectives and KPIs.
