About TPAPT
The journey of The Private Practice Tribe began with its founder, Kelley Stevens, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who identified a critical gap in the training of her peers. While therapists excelled in clinical skills, many found themselves unprepared for the entrepreneurial demands of running a business. Drawing from her own experiences of building a successful six-figure private practice from the ground up, and having navigated the complexities of relocating her practice across three different cities, Kelley felt a strong calling to share her hard-won knowledge. She had learned through trial and error what it truly takes to not only launch but also sustain and scale a thriving therapy practice. This personal and professional evolution laid the groundwork for what was to come.
In 2018, fueled by a passion to empower her fellow mental health professionals, Kelley officially founded The Private Practice Tribe. What started as a platform to share practical tips and marketing strategies soon blossomed into a comprehensive resource hub for therapists everywhere. Today, The Private Practice Tribe, also known as The Private Practice Pro, offers a suite of tools including video-based courses like 'The Private Practice Roadmap', specialized workshops, and a supportive community. The core mission is to provide therapists with a clear, step-by-step plan to build sustainable, cash-pay private practices, enabling them to achieve financial independence and a healthier work-life balance without the all-too-common burnout. By demystifying the business side of therapy, Kelley Stevens continues to help practitioners build the practices of their dreams.
