Position Overview

The Topcon Dealer Sales Manager for Latin America is responsible for managing and growing the dealer network for surveying instruments and related geomatics/construction solutions across the LATAM region. This role focuses on strategic channel development, sales execution, market expansion, and ensuring dealer excellence in representing the company’s full product portfolio. The position requires strong cultural awareness, deep understanding of surveying/construction workflows in a Latin America context, and proven channel sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Management & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high‑performing dealers across Latin America.
  • Establish yearly dealer business plans, including revenue targets, marketing actions, and product focus.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, assessing KPIs and identifying improvement areas.
  • Ensure dealer compliance with brand standards, pricing policy, and channel programs.
  • Grow competences around Topcon’s business systems and tools.

Sales Execution & Growth

  • Achieve regional sales targets for surveying instruments and geomatics/construction solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and plan territory expansion initiatives.
  • Support dealers with pipeline development, major opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead product launches, promotional campaigns, and regional sales events.

Training & Enablement

  • Deliver product and sales training to dealer teams (in Spanish).
  • Coordinate with product management and marketing for updated materials and competitive insights.
  • Support field demonstrations, trade shows, technical events, and customer roadshows.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor regional market trends, competitive activities, and customer demands.
  • Provide structured feedback to leadership regarding market needs and product requirements.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of geomatics, GNSS, optical instruments, and construction layout workflows.

Operational & Administrative

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and dealer documentation.
  • Manage travel, budgets, and dealer program expenditures responsibly.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, customer service, logistics, and technical support.
  • Ensure familiarity with Biz Hub and other Topcon business tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or related field.
  • Fluent Spanish (required); strong English communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel/dealer sales, ideally in geomatics, surveying, construction, or related technical equipment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of GNSS, robotic total stations, levels, lasers, and field software.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets in multi‑country territories.
  • Ability to travel 40–60% across Latin America.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Portuguese language skills.
  • Previous experience with LATAM distribution networks in surveying or construction technology.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering, mapping, land development, or construction workflows.
  • Residence near a major U.S. international airport.
