The Role
We’re looking for an experienced AI Maths Primary Author to help create clear, engaging maths lessons for our AI tutor.
You’ll design structured, research-informed content that helps primary pupils understand key mathematical concepts and overcome common misconceptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and adapt lesson scripts for AI delivery aligned to UK and US primary maths standards.
- Design learning sequences that build understanding step by step and address common misconceptions for younger learners.
- Ensure lessons are clear, accurate, engaging, and grounded in effective primary pedagogy.
- Collaborate with curriculum, pedagogy, and AI development teams to create age-appropriate, supportive learning experiences.
- Review and refine content to enhance pupil engagement, confidence, and conceptual understanding.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in primary maths education (UK, US, or both).
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or creating curriculum-aligned materials.
- Excellent written communication and precision in mathematical explanations.
- Organised, self-motivated, and confident managing freelance deadlines.
- Passionate about technology and how AI can expand access to quality teaching.
