Job Title: Epic Willow Analyst
Job Type: Full-Time Contracted 6+ months
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Compensation: $60.00–$70.00 per hour (based upon experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Willow Consultant to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Ambulatory modules, with proven experience in build, optimization, and end-user support. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure pharmacy workflows are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform system design, build, and configuration of Epic Willow modules (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory).
Collaborate with pharmacy and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that support clinical and operational goals.
Optimize current Willow workflows and medication management practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to medication ordering, dispensing, and administration.
Support integration with third-party systems including automation, medication cabinets, and inventory systems.
Participate in project planning, testing, training, and go-live support for new implementations or upgrades.
Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations and processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in all build and support activities.
Qualifications:
Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Ambulatory certification (required; must be current ).
Minimum of 3 years of Epic Willow experience in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, medication workflows, and clinical decision support.
Experience with Epic upgrade cycles, system testing, and validation.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Informatics, IT, or related field (preferred).
Previous experience supporting large-scale healthcare organizations or hospital systems.
Work Environment:
100% Remote (must have reliable high-speed internet and secure work environment).
Standard working hours with occasional flexibility based on project needs..
