For refugees and displaced individuals, language is more than just words—it’s the key to independence, employment, and feeling at home in a new country. You can help by simply talking with someone!

The Language Connect for Ukraine program is seeking volunteers to engage in virtual 1:1 conversations with Ukrainian learners eager to practice speaking in a real-world setting. No formal teaching is needed—just friendly conversation, cultural exchange, and encouragement!

Your voice can help someone grow in confidence, find opportunities, and integrate into their new community.

What You’ll Do

✔ Engage in relaxed video conversations to support Ukrainian learners in their language journey.
✔ Create a positive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable practicing.
✔ Share your culture and experiences, and learn about theirs in return.
✔ Set your own schedule—volunteer as much or as little as you want!
