Position Summary
Texada Software is seeking a skilled and analytical Product and Pricing Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting our product operations, analytics, and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen, technical skills for data extraction and analysis, Excel modeling, operational reporting, and primary data research. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights that drive informed product and pricing decisions and enhance our product operations
Work location
This position is remote/hybrid. Our home office is located in Mississauga, ON. Although there are no regular office days, you may be required to attend occasional meetings in person
How you will be contributing:
- Market Analysis
- Manage market/product model using internal and external data sources to maintain a model of the market
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product, portfolio, and pricing optimization and collaborate with Product Managers
- Operational Reporting
- Generate and maintain operational reporting to track key performance indicators related to product KPIs
- Build reports in HubSpot, Jira, and other systems to automate reporting
- Support and maintain the product tech strategy and stack
- Data Analysis and Modeling
- Develop and maintain analytic models in Excel and/or Google Sheets to analyze product, packaging, and pricing scenarios and their impact
- Extract and manipulate data from various sources to support product and pricing decisions
- Business Case Support
- Help Product Managers create and present well-structured business cases that outline the rationale behind proposed product, packaging, and pricing strategies
- Primary Data Research
- Plan and execute primary data research initiatives, such as surveys and customer interviews, to gather insights for product and pricing strategies, collaborating with PMs and other stakeholders
- Analyze research findings to inform pricing decisions and product improvements
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales teams, Finance, and other departments to align product and GTM strategies with broader business goals
- Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional product process and work with other functions to document and roll out new processes
What we are hoping to find in your background
- You have 3-5 years of Product/Pricing/Sales/Marketing/Rev Ops experience in B2B enterprise space, and/or have experience in strategy consulting with McKinsey, Bain, or BCG
- You are passionate about the building phase; starting from a blank slate is exciting, and you are willing to be scrappy and dive into the detail
- You have some experience working with business systems to extract data/insights
- You have experience in communicating with a broad team and can distill sophisticated concepts and analyses into concise and practical conclusions.
- You have a strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
