Front-end Engineer

Tenchi is a Cyber Security company that is building innovative technology focused on Third-Party Cyber Risk Management for businesses. Founded by serial entrepreneurs and backed by a solid group of Institutional Investors, we seek to disrupt this rapidly growing industry. What will you do?

• Translate Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into comprehensive and detailed design specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for Angular.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability, including implementing XSS and CSRF mitigation techniques.
• Continuously stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end development.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Svelte).
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).
• Skilled in writing clean, maintainable, and highly efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, thriving in cross-functional team environments.
• Ability to effectively translate product requirements into detailed, actionable design specifications.

Great if you have:

• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress, with experience in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Proven experience applying performance optimization techniques to enhance the speed and scalability of web applications.
• Active contributions to open-source projects, demonstrating a commitment to the developer community and collaborative coding practices.
