Join Tameson as we set the standard for how SMEs source industrial components online. We are looking for a Technical Content Strategist to take end-to-end ownership of our technical presence.

Your goal is clear: build Tameson into the most trusted technical brand in the industry. You will provide the best answers to help customers solve their problems, increasing our brand confidence, driving traffic to our website, and directly driving company revenue.

This is not a traditional copywriting role. You will act as a product owner for our content. You will decide the best format to solve the customer's problem and convert them, analyzing the data to verify content performance and adapt your strategy. Whether that is a white paper, a calculator, a diagram, or an interactive selection wizard, you will lean on AI to execute that vision efficiently.

About the Role

At Tameson, we simplify industrial supply for SMEs. We are a global e-commerce store for industrial components that turns technical expertise into a frictionless self-service experience, providing solutions rather than just parts. You will be the guardian of our technical brand. You are responsible for ensuring that Tameson is the primary source of truth for our products for Google, LLMs, and humans at SMBs. You will identify gaps in our current approach, choose the right content type to fill them, and ensure that all public-facing content is technically accurate and commercially effective.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Ownership: You will identify gaps in our content, style, and approach. You own the solution from idea to publication. You do not wait for a task list. You analyze the site, find the opportunities, and execute the improvements that drive the biggest impact.

  • Strategic Content Architecture: You decide the format that converts. Sometimes an article is best, but often the customer needs a flow calculator, a comparison table, an upgraded category page, a tooltip, diagram, video, or a selection wizard. You will build the right content for the job to build our brand and convert users.

  • Technical Authority & Accuracy: You are responsible for the technical accuracy of all public-facing content. You must have high engineering knowledge to validate data, correct errors, and ensure our advice is sound. You are the filter that prevents AI hallucinations or inaccuracies from reaching the customer.

  • Build the Content Moat: You will create unique value that competitors and AI models cannot replicate. Go beyond text to produce proprietary assets like physical product benchmarks, expert interviews, and deep-dive technical diagrams or videos.

  • Optimize for the Audience: You will structure information to ensure our content ranks high for search engines, serves as a primary citation source for AI models, and provides clear, helpful guidance for humans (engineers, non-engineers, buyers, etc.).

  • Agile Adaptation: You will stay ahead of marketing trends and follow the data. If a content format stops working, you pivot. You track traffic and conversion metrics to continuously refine your strategy.

  • High Engineering Knowledge: You have a background in engineering, deep experience in technical industries, and can explain the physics of our products easily.

  • AI-Native Workflow: You use AI tools as a force multiplier to structure thoughts, draft content, and clean data, allowing you to focus on high-level strategy and accuracy.

  • Outcome Owner: You are driven by results (traffic, conversion, revenue) rather than output (article or word count). You manage the roadmap and deliver end-to-end results.

  • Collaborative Investigator: You do not work in a silo. You actively partner with our Product and Operations teams to extract their internal expertise. You work with them and translate their knowledge into public-facing content that sets us apart from competitors.

  • Versatile Creator: You are comfortable switching formats and could work on writing a white paper, designing calculator logic, auditing category pages, and building dashboards to analyze results all in 1 week.

Role Work Conditions

  • Employment type: Full time position (remote).

  • Working hours: Flexible work hours, with availability required Monday through Friday and a minimum overlap of 12:00–17:00 GMT+1.

  • Contract type: You will join as an independent contractor. To simplify hiring outside our registered countries, we engage global talent through freelance contracts.
