Our client is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) delivering exceptional strategy and technology integration services to the U.S. Federal Government. We support several Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies across the CONUS.
OVERVIEW Full-time/Permanent Employee Location: Remote, United States (Travel: Willingness to travel to user locations within the US periodically) A Vice President of an Operational division will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the assigned Division our company, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with our strategic goals. Oversee operations with multiple functions within a division. Directs the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and operational goals within the division in support of the company’s overall financial and strategic objectives. Establishes budgets, short- and long-range objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success. Administers the organization’s policies through subordinate managers and directs and coordinates activities of more than one department, such as engineering, operations, information technology, accounting and finance. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the division/business unit.
The proposed salary range for this position is $187,000-$250,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction via transparent management of the entire portfolio.
  • Effectively manage all Profit and Loss (P&L) with the assigned division
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's mission, goals, and DoD requirements
  • Effectively lead and manage complex situations that have a significant impact on business operations for the entire directorate and throughout the company resulting in the best possible outcomes.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all operational functions
  • Explore new markets and new corporate offerings
  • Identify, track, and mitigate portfolio risk
  • Manage operational budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize efficiency while controlling costs
  • Identify areas for cost-saving measures and process improvements
  • Meet/exceed approved revenue and profit target
  • Grow existing portfolio revenue, meeting or exceeding assigned growth goals
  • Participate in all growth-related activities
  • Establish a growth-minded culture throughout your division
  • Ensure Comprehensive Professional Development for all assigned employees
  • Role model exceptional Talent and Performance Management (Interview process, Hiring, ongoing employee feedback and recognition, and termination), partnered with HR
  • Within your division, build and maintain productive and positive professional relationships with clients and their respective leadership organizations
  • Proactively shape client satisfaction and CPAR ratings with regular intentional client engagement.
  • Ensure effective communication is always maintained between requirements teams, development teams, company leadership, customers, and stakeholders
  • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the prescribed contract LCAT
  • Performs other duties as required

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance: Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance (or contract required clearance level)
  • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 18+ years of relevant experience or a Master's with 16+ years of relevant experience. At least 8 years progressively responsible management positions.

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • 8+ years of experience as a program manager
  • Extensive working knowledge of program management practices to create, track and maintain cost, schedule, performance, and risk metrics
  • Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework within the DoD
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
  • Working knowledge of agile management constructs (Agility, JIRA, Rally, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of change management principles and practices
  • Outstanding communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral communication / briefing skills
  • Demonstrated integrity and accountability

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep knowledge of DoD Program Management and/or Logistics Management
  • PMP Certification
  • DAWIA level III certifications such as (SPRDE, PM, LCL)
  • Agile Certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, etc)
