The story of TABS Inc. began with a clear vision rooted in personal experience and professional insight. Founder Jacob Willemsen, originally from the Netherlands, moved to the United States in 1997. During his tenure at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, he witnessed firsthand the significant challenges that European companies faced when attempting to enter the U.S. market. He saw that while these businesses had innovative products and services, they often struggled with the complex administrative and regulatory hurdles of establishing a U.S. presence.

Driven by a desire to bridge this gap, Jacob established his own consulting firm, which evolved into TABS (TransAtlantic Business Solutions) in 2010. His mission was to provide a soft landing for international companies, offering the essential back-office support they needed to focus on their core business goals. What started as a specialized service for Dutch companies quickly expanded as the demand for reliable, cross-border guidance grew. Today, TABS Inc. has supported over 1,000 companies from across Europe and beyond, providing a comprehensive suite of services including corporate secretary, bookkeeping, payroll, HR, and FDA registration. From its headquarters in New York to offices in Houston and Europe, TABS continues to be a trusted partner for businesses navigating the complexities of the American market.
