Product Manager, Google Distributed Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in product management with enterprise customer experience
  
• 5 years of experience building features to support infrastructure or software operations on customer premises
  
• Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with AI powered products
  
• Experience working in highly regulated markets or public sectors
  
• Experience as a developer or building tooling to support developers in enterprise and cloud environments
  
• Knowledge of the DevOps/DevSecOps vendor and OSS ecosystem

The Application Services team is responsible for prioritizing and delivering fully managed and Marketplace services across GDC, including service areas such as AI/ML, developer tools, analytics, and databases.

In this role, you will focus on our Developer user experience and be responsible for defining and executing a product strategy to provide an experience for application developers and operators. This includes DevOps/DevSecOps tooling, and overall application operator user experience from onboarding to scaling.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defining and implementing the developer experience for GDCH.
  
• Define the product strategy to ensure that GDCH provides a comprehensive, effective, and scalable product experience for developers that want to build, deploy, and operate new applications on GDCH.
  
• Evaluate and advocate features, such as integration of AI-powered tools, which make GDCH services the best tools to power your workloads.
  
• Define the user experiences for users who develop and deploy workloads, collaborating with other PMs to ensure the platform delivers those experiences. This will require developing PRDs and managing the engineering delivery of product features.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, user experience research, end users, other Google product teams and the ISV ecosystem.
