Essential duties include the following:
- Builds systems to interface with SWIVEL clientele.
- Automates processes to improve efficiency.
- Builds tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Participates in self-organizing teams working toward a common goal.
- Responds to issues as they arise and product support teams to run issues to ground.
- Works with product partners to understand requirements and goals.
- Prepares wireframes and mock-ups for proposed designs.
- Conducts peer reviews to ensure that development and security standards are enforced.
- Guides and mentors junior and mid-level developers on the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience required, including demonstrated knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles and design patterns; strong background in frontend technologies, JavaScript, React, and Typscript; creating and maintaining web applications.
- Strong background in Frontend Technologies such as, JavaScript, React, and Typescript.
- Understanding of Frontend best practices around development and testing
- Efficiency in various programming languages, including React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, etc.
- Exposure to microservice architecture and cloud-native services (preferably AWS), such as AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Fargate, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, CloudFormation, etc.
- General knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD), three-tier architecture, factory, and other design patterns.
- Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience integrating REST microservices into frontend web applications.
- Experience with team development and source control tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, JIRA, GIT).
- Knowledge of application security practices, including secure coding, authentication (OAuth2, SAML), and encryption.
- Willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies/processes.
- Experience with financial payments technologies, including credit card gateways, ACH, instant payments, and reconciliation systems preferred.
- Experience in a continuous integration (CI) environment with Build, Release, and Deployment preferred.
- Able to sit for long periods of time analyzing, modifying, and testing software programs.
- Able to lift or move 20-40 lbs. of computer-related objects, manuals, or other office items.
Compensation:
At SWBC, our pay structure is based upon the market data for each role and we have established compensation ranges to ensure that we remain competitive. Any offer of employment is based upon individual experience, market data, and geographic location for each role. This role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation in the form of either commission or performance bonus.
The base salary range for this position is:
