The Scheduler / Home Care Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring caregiver shifts are filled accurately and on time, with a strong focus on weekend coverage. This role serves as a key communication hub between caregivers, care managers, clients, and family members, and plays a critical part in maintaining continuity of care.
Requirements
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, workforce coordination, staffing, or a similar operations role
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
- Strong judgment and decision-making under pressure
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, family members, and internal team members
- Comfortable handling urgent staffing issues, call-offs, and last-minute changes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work weekends as part of a full-time schedule
