Role Overview:
You will be on the engineering team supporting the organization’s corporate IT, security, compliance, and infrastructure needs. This role requires supporting both the product engineering team responsible for the Strategyzer software platform web application, as well as the organization as a whole with compliance, IT security, and administrative needs. You will work closely with people across the organization, bringing technical expertise, and collaborating on ideas to build upon the value that our products and services provide. You will be a key player in ensuring our organization operates smoothly, securely, and efficiently with a focus on security, reliability, compliance, simplicity, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Objectives of this Role:
- Compliance & Security: Establish and maintain a trusted security and compliance posture to meet enterprise customer requirements and accelerate the sales process.
- IT Management & Support: Support team members by helping to administer cloud applications used across the organization.
- Cloud Operations Support: Assist developers with operational tasks related to security and compliance of application infrastructure hosted via cloud providers.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical compliance reviews(e.g. SOC 2) and vendor due diligence processes.
- Support team members by administrating cloud applications across the organization.
- Manage employee IT lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, access control.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or information security.
- Experience with technical audits, compliance(e.g. SOC 2), regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting and administering company-wide SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of security principles, including network security, identity and access management, and vulnerability management.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AWS(S3/CloudFront/IAM), Heroku, CircleCI, GitHub, Google Workspace.
- Experience with full-stack software development or infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience managing cloud platforms like AWS, Heroku or similar PaaS environments.
- Experience in small, innovation-focused, or remote-first companies.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+.
Soft Skills
- Comfortable working autonomously while also being a strong team player.
- Able to clearly articulate complex ideas and technical concepts using strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident speaking out and sharing ideas when discussing feasibility of new initiatives.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to prioritize and take ownership of projects.
