Lab Assistant

The Montana Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for our summer Intern - Lab Assistant position in the Bozeman Analytical Lab located at Montana State University. The Montana Department of Agriculture is serving Montana Agriculture and growing prosperity under the Big Sky. The Agricultural Sciences Division provides agricultural, environmental, and public services and protection through program administration, cooperative agreements, enforcement, regulatory and compliance services and laboratory services.

Position Overview: Part-time Lab assistant position available at the Bozeman Analytical Lab. This position will be 10-15 hours/week. Duties include sample processing, sample weighing, laboratory cleaning, washing dishes, and some administrative tasks. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a laboratory work environment. Flexible schedule to be determined at time of hire.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a science background currently enrolled at MSU who are available during summer months.

Salary: $19.00-19.00 Hourly
