About Spaceship
We're Spaceship, and we're on a mission to transform the way people think about and invest their money. We believe that investing should be accessible, understandable, and ultimately, empowering for everyone. We started our journey in 2016 with a clear goal: to build financial products that help people, particularly younger Australians, engage with their financial future in a meaningful way. Our first launch was Spaceship Super in 2017, a superannuation fund designed with a forward-thinking investment philosophy, focusing on where the world is going, not just where it's been. We didn't stop there. In 2018, we introduced Spaceship Voyager, our micro-investing product, to make it easy for anyone to start building wealth, no matter how small their starting amount. We understand that the world of finance can often feel complex and intimidating, so we've focused on creating a user-friendly experience through our app and platform.
Our team, headquartered in Sydney, is a passionate group of around 45 individuals dedicated to this mission. We're a mix of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers, all working together to build awesome financial products. We've continued to evolve and expand our offerings, including launching a US Investing service in 2023, allowing our customers to access US stocks and ETFs. Transparency and simplicity are core to what we do; we strive to be open in our communications and straightforward in the products we design. We're proud to have grown a community of over 200,000 customers who trust us with their investments and superannuation. While we've achieved a lot, we feel like we're only just getting started on our journey to help more people invest in their future and live the life they want to live. Recently, in 2024, we became part of the eToro family, a move that we believe will help us reach new heights and expand our offerings further.
