SBS builds mission-critical banking software and, together with our sister company Axway, now forms the 74 Software group. Within our Digital Banking Business Unit, we are assembling a small, high-impact team to craft a new generative-AI product line.

Your role: help design and build the user-facing layer of a retrieval-augmented-generation (RAG) platform that empowers bankers to compose and deploy their own AI agents—securely, compliantly, and at scale. You’ll join a growing team of Frontend developers, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and AI engineers to craft intuitive interfaces, real-time interactions, and seamless user experiences. Your work will be central to turning complex AI workflows into simple, elegant tools bankers can trust.

Job description :

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React, Next.js, Vite.js and TypeScript.

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to implement intuitive, accessible, and responsive features.

  • Ensure pixel-perfect UI using popular frontend frameworks (Tailwind CSS) and modern frontend best practices.

  • Optimize app performance across browsers and devices with Next.js/Vite.js and code-splitting techniques.

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and prevent regressions.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture and reusable component libraries.

  • Integrate with internal APIs and handle dynamic content updates and data states efficiently.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, ensuring smooth deployments and fast feedback loops.

  • Monitor app behavior and performance in production and proactively suggest UI/UX or technical improvements.

  • Document components, features, and dev workflows to ensure maintainability and team collaboration.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise – Must-Have :

  • Frontend Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and Vite.js

  • Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

  • Styling & UI: Expertise in Tailwind CSS, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and UI consistency

  • API Integration: Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and async data handling

  • Testing & Quality: Experience with unit testing and integration testing in frontend apps

  • Version Control & CI/CD: Comfortable with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

  • Security Best Practices: Familiarity with XSS protection, input validation, authentication flows, and secure coding for frontend

  • Tooling: Working knowledge of dev tools, performance profiling, and browser debugging

Technical Expertise – Nice-to-Have :

  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries

  • Experience with i18n and multi-language interfaces

  • Understanding of RAG concepts and AI-based interfaces

  • Exposure to GraphQL or WebSockets

  • Experience working in a banking, fintech, or regulated environment

Experience & Work Ethic :

  • Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development

  • Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams (Dev, Design, Product, QA, AI)

  • Able to write clean, maintainable code following best practices and team standards

  • Comfortable contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions

  • Good English comprehension and expression (written & spoken)

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality user experiences
