We are SOPHiA GENETICS, a healthcare technology company dedicated to establishing the practice of data-driven medicine as the standard of care and for life sciences research. We were founded in 2011 by a team of biologists and data scientists who envisioned a world in which data and analytics would transform patient care. Our mission is to transform patient care by expanding access to data-driven medicine globally. We believe that technology can make a positive and lasting impact on the world, using data for good. Our vision was to build a future in which each patient has equal access to world-class care, and today, we are well underway to realizing that impact.

We've built a revolutionary technology platform, the SOPHiA DDM™ Platform, a cloud-based SaaS platform capable of analyzing data and generating insights from complex multimodal data sets and different diagnostic modalities. This platform distills complex data into actionable insights to reshape the way that cancer and rare inherited disorders are diagnosed and treated. We're pioneering the field of data-driven medicine, where our platform's AI-driven insights, at the heart of one of the strongest connected networks in the world, benefit patients both today and tomorrow. Since day one, we have believed that the field of data-driven medicine requires a technology platform capable of analyzing complex health data (“multimodal data”) and breaking data silos within and across institutions. Our AI-driven platform decentralizes mountains of health data and connects seemingly obscure points within that data to inspire breakthroughs for the toughest medical mysteries. The SOPHiA DDM™ Platform is regularly used by 800+ healthcare institutions across the globe to turn complex health data into actionable insights for patients with cancer and rare disorders. The AI-powered platform analyzes over 350,000 patients per year, and over 2 million profiles since inception, making it one of the largest, most sophisticated, and widely used analytics platforms in healthcare. Our science is driven by an unrelenting passion to transform patient care through technology and collaboration. We are innovators across verticals, cultures, and borders, who are passionate and engaged. We're not afraid to roll our sleeves up to put in the hard work, but we have fun while doing it. We work hard, with precision, and progress as a team, not as individuals. Join us as we democratize data-driven medicine, together.
