POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented and experienced marketing professional to join our European marketing team for this Channel Trade Marketing Coordinator position. This is a hybrid position based at our offices in Northampton, with occasional travel to customer sites.

In this role you will manage the UK and Ireland’s channel marketing plans (and also temporarily oversee activities in Spain and Portugal), driving growth within our channel partners and developing organically our customer base. Working in conjunction with the wider Diversey marketing team, the channel team and aligning with our channel partners’ own marketing departments, you will drive the implementation of local business and marketing plans, assisting channel partners in the implementation of defined trade activities and supporting the achievement of our local channel marketing plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and strategy (20% of your time)

  • Developing and executing the local trade marketing plan aligned with marketing and sales channel plans, in addition to managing the budget to deliver plans.

  • Analyzing portfolio performance along key metrics, drawing implications and developing recommendations based on key market trends.

Communication (20% of your time)

  • Creating and executing channel partner communication, including product migrations and price changes.

  • Driving and engaging in sales and marketing channel events.

Digital (20% of your time)

  • Creating and developing trade digital marketing plans and campaigns in conjunction with the digital marketing team, and executing them.

  • Establishing lead generation activities to drive sales growth through channel partners.

Driving growth (40% of your time)

  • Planning, executing, analyzing and evaluating trade promotions, keeping the promotional plan calendar updated.

  • Supporting Channel Account Managers in improving Diversey’s presence in partner trade shops and websites.

  • Supporting Channel Account Managers with the preparation and roll-out of the promotional calendar and related activities, supporting with the preparation of the Joint Business Plan and its corresponding execution.

  • Providing insight into new channel partners to support diversification and growth in line with local business plans.

  • Supporting product launches with channel partners.

  • Supporting sales training programs.

  • Managing channel incentive programs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • A solid Marketing background (3-5 years), preferably in Trade Marketing. Experience working with technological cleaning solutions will be considered a plus

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

  • Proven digital marketing skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, financial acumen, project management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus

  • Ability to think clearly under pressure and flexible to change

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Time/task management and organization skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer service skills - ability to interface effectively and establish quick credibility with sales and Channel connections

  • Must have meticulous attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality

  • Ability to influence and motivate others.

  • Ability to deliver results through others.

  • Can do attitude, leads by example, uses and showcases best practice.

  • Skillful and accomplished with Microsoft office package / Google.
